About this design
Why Voyage – Vintage World Map Wall Mural for Children works on your wall
Voyage is a vintage-style world map, drawn for a baby's nursery or a child's playroom. Continents and oceans are laid out in soft, neutral beige, and a panda, a giraffe and a polar bear each sit on their own part of the map. Aeroplanes and hot air balloons drift across it.
It is a gentle sort of design. There is plenty to look at and talk about: find the animal, trace the route, name the continent. For a Montessori-minded children's room or a playroom built around adventure, it gives the wall something to teach as well as something to enjoy.
The palette stays quiet and neutral, so it sits comfortably alongside natural wood, soft linen and whatever toys the room fills up with. The finish is matt, and the illustration is figurative and a little nostalgic, more storybook atlas than anything loud.
Every wall mural is printed to the exact width and height of your wall, so it is made to measure rather than cut down from a standard roll. Printing uses latex technology with GREENGUARD Gold certified ink. Once you order, you have 12 hours to cancel free of charge. After that, your mural is produced and dispatched within 1–3 working days, and FedEx delivers within a further 1–3 working days, so allow 2–6 working days in total. We do not send a preview or proof before printing.
