You can definitely make the wallpaper by yourself. If you are not confident enough, we recommend that you hire a master. However, some customers prefer to have a professional install for them, in which case we recommend that all customers wait until they get the wallpaper before hiring a master. When your wallpaper arrives, please check your wallpaper before installation to make sure everything comes as ordered. This way, we can solve unlikely problems before the paper is loaded!

Is your temporary wallpaper not sticking to the wall? Do not worry! First of all, you should make sure that you use a solid, wall-affixed wallpaper adhesive. This type of wallpaper paste is readily available at most DIY stores or online. If you're still having trouble, first check our web page on our installation page to find out if your wall is suitable for pasting, if you're sure everything is fine and you're still having trouble sticking it, send us an email at [email protected] where a temporary wallpaper expert will be on hand!

We've made our installation process as simple as possible and we believe anyone who has ever done some DIY should definitely hang our murals! We will send a hanging guide with every order, but see a brief overview below:

Textile Vinyl Wallpaper

Our Textile Vinyl wallpaper then arrives as panels in multiple strips 49 cm wide and depending on the height of your mural. Each panel is numbered so you know exactly the order in which to hang your mural. Start on one side of the wall and continue hanging each wallpaper panel according to the design as you work your way along the wall until the wall is complete. View our related guide here.

Nonwoven Wallpaper

Nonwovenwallpaper is a little different because you will then get it in multiple panels in 70cm or 73cm widths (depends on the design) and the height of your mural. Each panel is numbered so you know exactly in what order to hang your mural. Start on one side of the wall and continue hanging each wallpaper panel, matching the design using the overlap and join method as you work your way along the wall until the wall is complete. Self-Adhesive Wallpaper

You will receive our Self-Adhesive wallpaper in multiple panels with a width of 70 cm (depends on the design) and the height of your mural. Each panel is numbered so you know exactly in what order to hang your mural. Start on one side of the wall and continue hanging each wallpaper panel, matching the design using the overlap and join method as you work your way along the wall until the wall is complete.

Your new Mural paper will come in a protective tube or box.

To make sure your temporary wallpaper is aligned correctly, check that the wall edges are running in a straight line, a plumb or spirit level should be used to hang the first strip. We will create your  temporary wallpaper so that the pattern or design flows perfectly! When installing, make sure the first panel hangs straight, this is vital to the successful installation of your mural. Use a plumb or spirit level to mark a panel width on the wall; this will guide you as you hang the first panel and ensure it hangs straight. Although samples can give a good indication of colour, we do not recommend colour matching to a sample. Due to slight variance between print batches, we always recommend colour matching to your final received mural for a perfect match. To avoid this issue you can request your wallpaper advisor to arrange a sample to be printed at the same time as your mural so that you have something to take into paint shops, furniture shops etc. This will be the closest match in colour to your mural.

There can be some variation between computer monitors and the final printed product. This is due to individual brightness and colour intensity settings, however, this is usually very minimal. Colours can also look slightly different depending on the material they are printed on. If you have any specific concerns about colour matching, we would suggest sending a sample for you before you make the final order to give you a more accurate idea of colour. Please note we would actually suggest colour matching paints etc. where possible once you have received the final product. For basic designs and alterations, no! We offer this service free of charge and our Client Design will send you a scale proof image of your requested changes prior to purchase. We can make as many changes as needed to get the temporary mural design perfect for you. If your temporary mural requires more complex design work, we may charge an additional design fee. This will be explained by our Customer Service team at your request. Just let us know what you need and we will get working on that for you!
