<h2>Order Process and Payment</h2>
<p>After selecting the name/code, details, dimensions and paper you want to print on the wallpaper you want to order through our Marewall.com website, and framing the product online from the places you want, the product picture you see is the final version to be printed. You make the purchase by typing the notes you want to be in the edits and other editions according to the notes section. After you create your order and complete the purchase, we send you your order summary via e-mail. For the arrangements you want to be made, we also contact you via your e-mail address or phone number and start production after receiving your final approval. The product without any note is printed directly. We try to respond to all orders within 24 hours of dispatch, excluding weekends and public holidays. After absolute approval, the products are shipped within 3-5 working days and your e-mail address and cargo tracking number will be sent as soon as it is given.</p>
<h2>Right of Cancellation</h2>
<p>Cancellation of the products agreed in the contract can only take place within 24 hours from the moment the order is placed.</p>
<p>Mare Wall passes all products through the quality console before shipping the products, any product or service with obvious defects caused by Mare Wall will be replaced.</p>
<h2>Production and Delivery</h2>
<p>We will make every effort to deliver orders on time. Our quoted delivery times are approximately 3-5 business days from receipt of payment for all orders worldwide, however please note that due to unforeseen or unexpected issues this time may sometimes be longer, in which case we will endeavor to keep you informed. We cannot be held responsible for delays or errors made by third party courier, customs or postal services. We will always ensure that the order is securely sealed in a rigid packaging. Any damage to the package in transit must be noted at the time of delivery and signed as damaged. <p>With your measuring instrument, note the width at the extreme points of the wall and the height at the extreme points. We only need the wall dimensions, do not include any baseboards or trim. We do not need the size of the doors and windows on the wall surface. Think of the wall as a whole from right to left and from top to bottom. We only need Width and Length measurements. We will print your wallpaper 1-2% larger than the sizes you give us. This will make installation easier and safer.</p>

<p>In the unlikely event there is a problem with your purchase, simply contact our friendly team, and we will try our very best to come to a resolution as quickly as possible. We sell a variety of products on our website and you can find more information on our returns policy for each one below. If there is a problem with your mural, the first thing you should do is contact us within 14 days of receiving the item; You can contact us at <strong>+1 (315) 675 5100</strong> or by email at <strong>hello@marewall.com</strong>. We will ask you to send some photos of your mural to help us fix the problem faster. In most cases, we can tell what the problem is from the photos.</p>
<p>It is important to note that our murals are a bespoke item and are unique to each wall, so no two are the same and have no resale value. Therefore, we cannot accept returns of murals due to a change of plan, simply because they are undesirable, or because once installed, we cannot use them again. An order cannot be canceled after the first 24 hours after payment has been received for your custom mural.</p>
<p>After reviewing the photos, our team will give you a detailed breakdown of what is causing your issue. If Mare agrees that the problem is due to factors beyond our reasonable control or due to misuse by the customer or a related third party of the customer, we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage and no refund will be given.</p>
<p>If the problem is determined to be caused by something beyond our control, our helpful team can offer you advice and guidance on some practical steps you can take to try and mitigate the problem. We pride ourselves on customer service and our customers have always been good.</p>
<p>After reviewing the photos, if Mare thinks that the problem is due to something within our control, such as a printing defect or a faulty product, we are happy to accept responsibility and will try our best to resolve the issue as soon as possible.</p>
<p>In this case, most of the time, we can give you a replacement mural that can be shipped quickly. Mare sees mistakes as a learning opportunity and we work with you to solve problems to create a new one.</p>
<p>However, we understand that there may be instances where our customer would like a refund when a faulty product is received. Our team will gladly do this for you and arrange for the mural to be collected and returned to our head office. A full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days after the mural is returned.</p>
<p>If a customer wishes to return the product himself rather than using our pickup service, it is the customers responsibility to ensure that the product reaches us in a timely manner and in acceptable condition. We highly recommend using an insured and tracked service and we will not be refunded for any items lost in transit once returned to us.</p>
<p>Please be careful when installing the mural or hiring someone to assist with the installation. Absolutely, we cannot reimburse third party installation fees or take responsibility for installation errors. The product must be checked for possible defects before hiring any third party, as we cannot accept any cancellation fees if the product is not suitable for installation.</p>

<p>Remove any old backing paper from wall surface. Ensure hanging surface is smooth, clean, dry in depth. Surface should be free from contaminants such as dirt, dust, grease, mildew, ink stains; any of these can prevent adhesion taking place. Although it is not necessary, YOU may wish to use lining paper underneath your mural.</p>
<p><strong>Emulsion paint:</strong> No further preparation needed.</p>
<p><strong>Porous surface (plaster, cement render):</strong> Ensure old plaster is stable and free of mold.</p>
<p>Ensure new plaster is dry in depth. Prime surface with a PVA based primer or emulsion paint and allow to dry before hanging. Non-porous surface (glass, gloss paint): No further preparation needed.</p>

<p>1. Unroll the wallpaper and separate the drops. Every other drop on the roll will be upside down. Identify each panel and arrange them in hanging order on the floor by aligning the panel numbers to the top left corner of each drop. Each drop is numbered in hanging order from left to right.</p>

<p><strong>Textured Walls —</strong> All kinds of convex unevenness will be visible after gluing the wallpaper, air will accumulate in concave gaps and the glue will not bind in these places.</p>
<p><strong>Wallpaper —</strong> Sticking self-adhesive wallpaper on paper is not recommended, when you try to peel off to correct, you must completely tear off the old layer of wallpaper.</p>
<p><strong>Brick / Cinderblock —</strong> Rough surfaces to which the wallpaper will not hold.</p>
<p><strong>Wooden walls —</strong> Similarly as on brick, the wallpaper can peel off after some time.</p>
<p><strong>Unpainted Drywall / Sheetrock or Plaster — </strong> Paper may possibly tear off when peeling off Non-stick Paint e.g..</p>
<p><strong>Latex paint — </strong> Some latex paints, depending on their composition, may cause the wallpaper to peel off. It is recommended that you check such a wall using the sample attached to each wallpaper.</p>
<p><strong>Wall behind old plaster/ paint — </strong> When peeling off, it is possible that the paint will strip off with part of the plaster.</p>
<p><strong>Wall covered with mold — </strong> A wall which is covered with mold is usually moist, so the adhesive cannot bind well and will peel off.</p>
<p><strong>Bathroom —</strong> Installing any wallpaper in the bathroom is not easy due to steam. To check if YOU can hang a self-adhesive wallpaper in your bathroom, order a sample and glue it on the desired wall at height above 7 ft. If, after 7-14 days, it does not start to peel off, your wallpaper should also stick. It is not recommended in areas that are directly in contact with water.</p>
<p><strong>Kitchen —</strong> If you want to hang the wallpaper over the kitchen counter near the sink, etc. it is necessary.</p>

<h2>Preparing the Wall</h2>
<p>Before you install your wallpaper, prepare the wall in a way similar as before applying a normal wallpaper or before painting:</p>
<p>If there is any kind of unevenness, smooth it out by applying a coat and dry so it is even. Similarly, to old plaster or paint, it should be cleaned and smoothed beforehand.</p>
<p>It should not be painted at least up to 21 days before hanging the wallpaper.</p>
<p>It should be cleaned with a cloth moistened with a warm water of all kinds of dust, grease, etc., everything that might reduce its tackiness. Do not use chemicals or soap. The wall must be completely dry during installation.</p>
<p>If there are power outlets on the wall, cut off the power supply before hanging the wallpaper and unscrew the sockets.</p>

<h2>Before you hang your wallpaper</h2>
<p>After receiving the parcel with the wallpaper, Check immediately if your order is complete and does not contain any defects such as:</p>
<ul>
<li>Mechanical damage.</li>
<li>Errors in print.</li>
<li>Incorrect wallpaper size - is it not smaller than ordered (the wallpaper should be slightly larger than the one ordered - security buffer).</li>
<li>Whether any panel is missing (Each panel sequentially is numbered).<br />If you notice any defects, do not hang the wallpaper and immediately submit a complaint to customer service.</li>
<li>Before hanging, make sure that the wall is properly prepared.</li>

<h2>Installation - First Strip</h2>
<ol>
<li>Measure the width of one panel and then draw a vertical line at this distance counting from the left side of the wall, i.e., the panel width, starting from the left, measure such a distance and draw a vertical line to which the right edge of the first bar will adhere.</li>
<li>Hang the wallpaper beginning from the top side. Peel off about 12 in (30 cm) backside of the wallpaper and apply it to previously drawn lines. Glue the strip from the top.</li>
<li>Gently smooth out the wallpaper Using a plastic smoother to avoid formation of air bubbles. Do not press too hard against the wall. If you need to correct/reposition, gently peel off lifting the panel (CAUTION: do not pull rapidly!). Gently peel off the backside of the wallpaper moving lower and lower, gluing the next section to the wall. CAUTION: The material is flexible, so try not to stretch it, it may cause deformation, gaps etc.</li>
</ol>

<h2>Installation - Next Panels</h2>
<ol>
<li>Similarly, to the first strip, peel off approximately 12 in (30cm) the backside of the wallpaper and start gluing by holding the vertical panel edge on the left. Make sure you are not losing the vertical and vertical direction with the level.</li>
<li>Follow the instructions above, repeating steps 2-4.</li>
<li>When you glue all the panels, you can press them smoothly with a clean, dry cloth.</li>
<li>If you have excess material at the corners and ceiling, use a wallpaper knife to cut it off.</li>

<h2>Cleaning the wallpaper</h2>
<p>Clean your wallpaper with a damp cloth immediately after soiling. The use of chemicals may damage the print.</p>

<h2>General Preparation</h2>
<p>Remove any old backing paper from wall surface. Ensure hanging surface is smooth, clean, dry in depth. Surface should be free from contaminants such as dirt, dust, grease, mildew, ink stains; any of these can prevent adhesion taking place. Although it is not necessary, YOU may wish to use lining paper underneath your mural.</p>
<p><strong>Emulsion paint:</strong> No further preparation needed.</p>
<p><strong>Porous surface (plaster, cement render):</strong> Ensure old plaster is stable and free of mold.</p>
<p>Ensure new plaster is dry in depth. Prime surface with a PVA based primer or emulsion paint and allow to dry before hanging. Non-porous surface (glass, gloss paint): No further preparation needed.</p>

<h3>Layout your mural</h3>
<p>1. Unroll the wallpaper and separate the drops. Every other drop on the roll will be upside down. Identify each panel and arrange them in hanging order on the floor by aligning the panel numbers to the top left corner of each drop. Each drop is numbered in hanging order from left to right.</p>
<p>Please note: If YOU have ordered multiple murals, they may be rolled together.</p>
<p>2. Lay out panels to check image match before installation. If YOU notice any inconsistencies within the print, please do not install. Our customer service team can assist YOU with any problems.</p>

<h3>Paste the wall</h3>
<p>Using a brush or roller, evenly apply a thin layer of wallpaper paste directly to the wallpaper back surface.</p>

<h3>Hang the first panel</h3>
<p>Hang the first drop starting from the top and working downwards. Carefully smooth away any bubbles or ripples using a soft brush or micro-fiber cloth.</p>
<p><strong>IMPORTANT:</strong> Do not pull or stretch the material during installation. Work from the top and allow the wallpaper to fall naturally, taking particular care to avoid scuffing or scratching the printed surface.</p>

<h3>Butt UP the panels</h3>
<p>When hanging multiple drops: hang the panels edge to edge (there is no overlap), in a butt join. Visually match the image at the join and adjust the position Until the design completely matches. Firmly butt the panels, then smooth out with a soft brush. Use a seam roller to ensure the product is well bonded at the joins and gently wipe away any excess paste. Trim away any excess paper at the top and bottom of each drop using a knife and a straight edge.</p>

<p>Continue the previous stages for each drop Until all panels are installed. Trim away any excess wallpaper Using a straightedge and sharp blade. Allow for drying at room temperature, ensuring there is some ventilation. Sit back and enjoy your handiwork!</p>
