Everything you need to know about ordering, shipping, materials, and more.
Ordering & Customisation
Yes — after selecting a design, enter your exact wall width and height at checkout. We add a small bleed margin automatically. For ceiling-height walls, irregular shapes, or very large installs, contact us before ordering and we'll guide you through.
Yes! Visit our Custom Mural page to upload your photo or artwork. Minimum recommended resolution is 150 DPI at final print size. Our team reviews every upload and sends a scaled digital proof within 24 hours.
Colour on screen is very close but never 100% identical — monitor brightness and calibration vary. We strongly recommend ordering a printed A4 sample before committing to a large print, especially for colour-critical projects.
Each panel is 50 cm wide and your custom height. A standard 3 m wide wall arrives as 6 panels, numbered left to right. The exact panel count is shown in your cart before checkout, and each panel is labelled for easy installation.
Email us within 1–2 hours of placing your order. If production hasn't started, we can adjust dimensions at no extra cost. After production begins, a reprint is required at the standard price. Double-measure before ordering — height and width to the nearest centimetre.
Materials & Product
We offer three types: Non-Woven Classic (paste-the-wall, most popular for a premium look), Peel & Stick (self-adhesive, renter-friendly, no paste needed), and Textile Premium (woven backing, commercial grade for high-traffic spaces). See our Material Guide for a full comparison including durability, installation difficulty, and price.
Peel & stick is self-adhesive and fully removable — ideal for renters, children's rooms, and temporary installs. It requires a perfectly smooth, fully cured wall. Traditional non-woven is pasted with adhesive, lasts longer (10–15+ years), looks more premium, tolerates minor wall texture, and produces invisible seams.
A properly installed non-woven mural lasts 10–15+ years. Peel & stick lasts 5+ years if never removed. UV exposure is the main enemy: a south-facing wall with 6+ hours of direct sunlight per day may show noticeable fading in 3–5 years even with UV-stable inks. UV-filter window film, sheers, or darker colourways extend life significantly.
Yes. We use non-toxic, water-based inks and Greenguard-certified substrates. Peel & stick adhesive is VOC-free and solvent-free. Always ventilate the room for 24 hours after installation before children sleep in it.
Yes — we print to order (zero inventory waste), use FSC-certified paper substrates, and water-based latex inks. Look for FSC, Greenguard Gold, or OEKO-TEX certifications on the product page. Print-to-order also means we never overproduce.
Most of our non-woven and vinyl grades meet European fire standards (EN 15102 / Euroclass B-s1 d0). If you're specifying wallpaper for a hotel, restaurant, office, school, or healthcare setting, contact us and we'll provide the relevant fire-rating certificate.
Installation
Peel & stick is DIY-friendly for one confident person working alone. Non-woven paste-the-wall is manageable for two people. Walls over 3 m tall, rooms with many obstacles, or designs with complex pattern-matching are best handled by a professional paperhanger. In major cities, professional installation costs approximately £25–50 / $30–60 per square metre.
For non-woven: plumb line or spirit level, sharp blade (change blade every 2 metres), smoother brush, seam roller, wallpaper paste, sponge, scissors, measuring tape, and a bucket. For peel & stick: plumb line, plastic squeegee, and a sharp knife. Always protect the floor with dust sheets before starting.
The wall must be clean, dry, smooth, and fully cured. Fill any cracks with filler and sand smooth. For oil or gloss paint, apply a bonding primer and let it dry completely before papering. New paint must cure for at least 4 weeks. On plasterboard, fill and sand screw holes first, then apply a primer coat.
Paste the wall — not the paper. Draw a plumb vertical reference line first. Apply paste to the wall section by section. Hang panels in numbered order, starting from the left. Butt seams edge-to-edge (no overlap, no gap). Smooth from the centre outward with a brush or sponge to remove air bubbles. Trim excess at top and bottom with a sharp blade.
No paste required. Draw a plumb vertical reference line. Peel back the top third of the backing paper. Align the panel with your plumb line and press into place. Slowly peel the remaining backing while smoothing with a squeegee from centre outward. Do not apply to freshly painted walls — paint must cure at least 4–6 weeks.
Yes, with non-woven or vinyl grade wallpaper and proper ventilation. Use an anti-mould paste in bathrooms. Keep the wallpaper at least 30 cm away from hobs and cooktops. Do not use peel & stick in rooms with high or variable humidity — temperature swings break the adhesive bond over time.
Yes — on satin or smooth plaster walls with satin or low-sheen paint applied over them, you can paper directly. For oil-based or high-gloss paint, apply a bonding primer and let it dry fully. New paint must cure at least 4 weeks. Old paint that is flaking or powdering must be stripped or sealed before papering.
Care & Cleaning
Most non-woven and vinyl murals are washable: use a damp cloth with mild soap (e.g. castile soap). Do not use bleach, acetone, thinners, or abrasive sponges — they strip the matte coating and cause irreversible colour damage. Peel & stick tolerates gentle wiping with a damp cloth but not scrubbing.
Act immediately on fresh stains with a clean damp microfibre cloth — blot, don't rub. For stubborn marks, try a soft eraser or a paste of 1 part bicarbonate of soda to 10 parts water; always test on a hidden corner first. For crayon or felt-tip in children's rooms, a soft eraser or diluted castile soap usually works. Never use solvent-based cleaners.
Limit direct UV exposure — add sheer curtains, roller blinds, or UV-filter window film on south-facing walls. UV film blocks up to 99% of UV rays and 40% of heat. Choose darker colourways for very sunny walls. Our inks carry a 5-year lightfastness guarantee under normal indoor conditions.
For non-woven: spray warm water lightly on the panel, wait 10–15 minutes, then peel slowly from a corner. A steam wallpaper stripper makes stubborn sections easier. For peel & stick: start from a corner and pull slowly at a low angle — it leaves no residue on properly cured paint. Protect the floor before starting.
Yes — roll them loosely and store vertically in a cool, dry, dark place at 10–25 °C and 40–65% humidity. Keep panels from the same production batch: colour can vary slightly between batches, making a saved piece invaluable for future touch-ups or patch repairs.
Shipping & Delivery
Production: 1–2 business days after proof approval. Shipping via FedEx: 5–8 business days worldwide. Total: approximately 7–10 business days from order to door. For time-sensitive projects (renovations, events), order at least 3 weeks in advance to allow for revisions.
Yes — we ship to 36+ countries with free worldwide shipping on all orders. Remote destinations (Alaska, Hawaii, Scottish Highlands, Canary Islands) may incur a small surcharge and 2–3 extra days in transit.
Yes — once your mural ships, you'll receive a FedEx tracking number by email. You can also track it any time in your account under My Orders. FedEx usually sends its own email and SMS notifications too.
Accept and sign for the shipment, then photograph the damaged packaging and product immediately. Email support within 48 hours with your order number and photos. Keep the original packaging until we confirm next steps. We'll send a replacement via the fastest available courier at no cost to you.
Returns & Proof
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for standard products. Custom-printed murals are non-returnable unless defective. If there is a manufacturing defect (wrong print, colour error, damage), we'll replace or refund at no cost — photograph the defect within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Because every mural is custom-made to your dimensions, cancellation is only possible before production begins. To change dimensions, contact us as soon as possible after ordering — we can often adjust before printing begins.
Within 24 hours of ordering, we send a scaled digital proof showing exactly how the mural will look on your wall — including panel layout, seam positions, and final dimensions. You can request unlimited free revisions before approving for production. Nothing goes to print without your explicit approval.
