Installation Guide

Step-by-step instructions for hanging your custom MareWall mural. It's easier than you think.

Before You Start

Ensure the wall is clean, dry, smooth, and free of old wallpaper or peeling paint.

You'll need a smoothing tool, utility knife, sponge, spirit level, and wallpaper paste (for non-woven).

Unroll the panels and let them acclimate to room temperature for 24 hours.

Using a roller, apply an even layer of wallpaper paste to the first panel width of the wall.

Starting from the left edge, align the first panel to a plumb line. Use a smoothing tool to remove air bubbles.

Butt each panel edge to edge — no overlap. Use the pattern marks to align the design perfectly.

Use a sharp utility knife to trim excess material at the ceiling, floor, and around obstacles.

Go over all panels once more with the smoother. Wipe away excess paste with a damp sponge.
